A space where grief is gently held

The Hummingbird Room is a quiet, sacred space created for those walking with loss.

Here, grief does not need to be explained, fixed, rushed, or made smaller.
Here, it is simply welcomed.

This space was born from personal loss and deep listening — a place where sorrow and love can coexist, where memory is honored, and where the heart is given permission to soften again.

The Hummingbird Room is not about “moving on.”
It is about learning how to live with what has changed, with tenderness, presence, and compassion.

What You’ll Find Here

The Hummingbird Room offers gentle, body-based and reflective practices to support you through grief and remembrance, including:

  • Guided meditations for grief, remembrance, and listening to the heart
  • Trauma-informed yoga and movement to support the nervous system
  • Journal prompts for reflection, memory, and meaning-making
  • Seasonal and anniversary-based offerings for times when grief returns more strongly

All practices are designed to be soft, accessible, and optional — honoring that grief lives uniquely in everybody and every story.

Live Grief Circles

Several times each year, I host live, virtual grief circles — intimate gatherings to pause, remember, and be gently supported in community.

These circles are held on meaningful dates connected to personal loss in my own family, and they are offered in honor of all those we carry in our hearts.

Each circle includes gentle movement, guided meditation, reflective writing, and optional sharing in a quiet, compassionate container.

You are welcome to come exactly as you are.
You may choose to actively participate, to simply listen, or to remain a silent observer.
You are always welcome to keep your camera off, your microphone muted, and your presence soft.

There is no pressure to speak, to share, or to explain.
Your way of being here is enough.

Registration & Donation

All Hummingbird Room offerings are donation-based.

When you register for a live circle via Eventbrite, you will be invited to offer a donation at a level that feels meaningful and accessible to you. There is no required amount.

Once registered, you will automatically receive:

  • A confirmation email
  • The Zoom link for the gathering
  • Any additional details needed to join with ease

If you are unable to donate at this time, you are still warmly welcome.
This space exists first as an offering — not a transaction.

Giving Forward

A portion of all donations from the Hummingbird Room is gifted forward to organizations and causes that support grief, healing, and family resilience.

In this way, your presence and generosity continue the circle of care beyond this space.

A Note from Gina

The Hummingbird Room was created in remembrance of my mother, my father, and my father-in-law — and for all the ways grief continues to shape us long after loss.

I believe grief deserves:

  • safety
  • slowness
  • presence
  • and a place to land

If you are here, know that nothing about your grief is too much, too old, too complicated, or too quiet to belong.

May this space remind you that love remains, even in absence.
And that you do not have to carry it alone.
